21st International Conference on Metallurgical and Industrial Analytics Ustroń 2025

From June 2 to 4, 2025, the 21st International Conference on Metallurgical and Industrial Analytics was held in Ustroń, gathering over 70 specialists from both the country and abroad. During the conference, current issues related to the chemical and physicochemical analysis of raw materials, products, and industrial waste were discussed. Particular emphasis was placed on the quality of analyses, certified reference materials, laboratory organization, and pollution analytics. Presentations covered topics such as ICP-OES, ICP-MS, XRF techniques, method validation, NADCAP accreditation, and the competencies of laboratory teams. The high substantive level and discussion panels facilitated the exchange of experiences. A special event was an inspiring lecture by Wiktor Niedzicki, a well-known science popularizer and creator of the 'Laboratory' program, who presented the topic of measurement units in an original way.

The conference turned out to be an extremely valuable event that allowed participants to expand their knowledge, establish new contacts, and exchange ideas.
